Demo excerpt from the silent film "Nosferatu - Eine Symphonie des Grauens" by F.W. Murnau, rescored with a classical filmscore for orchestra by Bjrn Knoll.
I know there are many versions out there, but I tried to show,as often ignored, that Murnau's Nosferatu (1921/22)is dramatically really well made and it is possible to write music which fits to the very long scenes and supports the little movements of the actors at the same time.It is not only a horror film than also a romantic Drama.

Now it's the first time I've heard reconstructions of the original music by Hans Erdmann.So I was not influenced by his
music when I composed this score. I don't know if there's a complete movie-version of his music on the market(tell me if you know it).
